In the supply chain, logistics refers to cargo delivery and warehousing management. It is a crucial element in all industries. The quality of information services has a major impact on logistics. Panda aims at providing timely and accurate information for its customers and is committed to making investments for the purpose of information construction. The company’s main information projects include:

Electronic Service:Based on the status of cargo, Panda constructs a tracking system for ocean and air freight by maintaining sound links with the information systems of transporters, container yards, warehouses, carriers, airlines and foreign agents.

EDI Work:The Supply chain is the link between different industries. Panda, adopting a positive view, actively promotes the sharing of data with customers and partners in order to ensure the consistency of data and fast operation, helping clients to reduce unnecessary manual risks. Panda assists customers in building a complete electronic chain of supply which ensures real-time and integral data, such as declarations, bills of lading, accounting and storage quantity.

R& D and Testing of New Technology: In recent years, the production industry has been seeking solutions in order to integrate logistics, information flow and capital flow. RFID is the product of this thinking. Given the fact that RFID can upgrade service quality, Panda completed the container tracking test plan of RFID with the help of the Industrial Technology Research Institute. In 2006 it cooperated with Acer and CHENG UEI Precision to complete the cargo tracking test plan of RFID, which has been successively applied into practice. In March, 2007, Panda was the first logistics company in Taiwan to join EPC GLOBAL, an important organization in International RFID. In 2007, Panda continued its cooperation with ITRI, conducting pilot studies into cargo monitoring at airports in order to enhance logistic efficiency with the application of RFID.
